Apple takes up additional space in Gurgaon office as India focus increases

Apple has taken up additional space in Gurgaon, a few floors above its existing office which CEO Tim Cook visited last year, during his maiden trip to India.
According to people aware of the development, Apple has taken space to seat a number of new executives that it plans to hire over the next few months, even as it expands its presence in India by beginning manufacturing here.
Apple did not comment on this specifically.
The Cupertino-based smartphone maker is expected to start “trial assembly” of iPhones in India next month regardless of the outcome of its requests for concessions from the central government, Karnataka state officials said.
